Irvines Home Hardware

We purchased Irvines in 1995 from Mr Wilson on his retirement, who purchased the business from his brother in law Arthur Irvine. We joined Home Hardware Scotland in 2010 in order to compete against the multiples and have access to many more stock lines. This membership increased our market share substantially enabling us to enlarge and totally refit the premises. As a family owned business, we appreciate the loyalty of our customers and therefore we go the extra mile to ensure complete satisfaction.

We sell most items for the home, kitchen and garden. We stock DIY supplies including Dulux and Johnstones paints, Ronseal varnishes, alongside electrical accessories, lamps and hardware. Security and key cutting is also available. BBQ charcoal briquettes, Solid fuels and we are a Calor gas stockist.

In our garden section we stock lawnmowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers from top brands like Black & Decker, Flymo and Bosch at very competitive prices. We also sell Mr Fothergill’s seeds, spring and autumn bulbs, plants and garden furniture. In our housewares section we stock Pyrex, Kitchen Craft and Judge alongside electrical goods from top-names such as Bosch, Philips, Kenwood, Breville and Morphy Richards, Tower. Our knowledgeable staff provide expert advice.
