Do I have to be at home for my delivery?

All deliveries require a signature to ensure you receive properly however you can change delivery address to a relative/friend/neighbour or even your work address.

When should I expect my order?

UK Mainland Next Working Day* UK Mainland 2-3 Working Days* *Working days are Monday-Friday 8am-7pm inclusive, excluding Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays. Available for orders placed on website before 12 noon (delivery on working days only) orders placed after 12 noon dispatched next working day. Please allow 2 additional days for some rural/remote locations.

What if delivery was attempted when I wasn't at home?

We suggest that customers provide an email address and/or mobile number. This ensures our customers are informed and are up-to date with the delivery status of their order. Our courier will contact you with an estimated delivery time via email/sms text. This will include options to then change or request alternative delivery instructions. Please note that all direct deliveries from Home Hardware Direct will need to be signed for. If no contact information is provided or our customer hasn't provided any alternative instructions, our courier will leave a card stating whether your parcel will be redelivered or will be taken to your local collection point for pick-up.

Why can't I buy a set of kitchen knives?

You are able to purchase knives - for Click & Collect only. The store selected for Click & Collect will operate the Challenge 21 or Challenge 25 policy. Please ensure you have valid ID when collecting your order. We will cancel and refund any home delivery order for kitchen knives.

Why can't I buy spray paint?

You are able to purchase spray paints - for Click & Collect only. The store selected for Click & Collect will operate the Challenge 21 or Challenge 25 policy. Please ensure you have valid ID when collecting your order. We will cancel and refund any home delivery order for spray paints.

Why can't I buy aerosols?

You are able to purchase aerosols - for Click & Collect only. The store selected for click and collect will operate the Challenge 21 or Challenge 25 policy. Please ensure you have valid ID when collecting your order. We will cancel and refund any home delivery order for aerosols.

Age restricted products: The purchase of certain products from us is subject to age requirements specified by law. We may not supply these products to individuals who do not satisfy the minimum age requirements and, if you are under the age specified by law, you must not attempt to purchase these products from us. In particular, please note that age restrictions apply in the UK to the purchase of the following products. By placing an order for any of the following products you confirm that you (and, if different, the recipient of the product) satisfy the age requirements necessary to buy that product: Knives (including sheath knives, all kitchen/cutlery knives) or bladed articles - Knives and bladed items can only be purchased by, and for, individuals aged 18 and over. Christmas crackers - Christmas crackers can only be purchased by, and for, individuals aged 12 and over. If you order age restricted products for collection in store, we may refuse to supply them to you if on collection if you appear to be under the required age and cannot provide age verification. Spray paint & aerosols can only be purchased by, and for, individuals aged 16 and over. Please remember to bring a form of ID to the store on collection of your goods.

Order Returns/Cancellation

Can I cancel my order?

If you request to cancel your order before we have shipped, we will issue a full refund to card used for purchase. If you wish to cancel after order has been dispatched you have 14 days to return to ourselves for a full refund assuming the product is unused and in original packaging.

What if I receive a faulty item?

Please contact us as soon as possible after delivery and we will arrange to collect and either refund or replace as requested. Our contact number and email are available on this page.

What if my product develops a fault during the warranty period?

All products we sell come with a 1 year/12 month warranty from Home Hardware. If your product develops a fault during this period then please contact us to arrange a collection and replacement of faulty item.
