Houseproud of Morningside Ltd is situated in the heart of Morningside Road, Edinburgh.
We are centred around a bustling High Street that has its own vibrant community. It is a hub of highly regarded shops and services including playgroups, nurseries, primary and secondary schools, university, churches, charitable organisations, library, post office, community centre and hospitals. Morningside brings a whole spectrum of people to its core.
We stock a vast range of products from breadboards to broomstick, paint to porcelain, kettles, crates and clothes dye, doorplates with your name.
Teapots and toasters, shoe polish too. Furniture cream, detergents, a brush to clean the loo. Laundry baskets, airers, pegs and washing line. Watering can or garden hose, gardening gloves and twine.
Panel pins, picture hooks, hammers nails and screws. Batteries, bulbs and torches, three pin plug with fuse.
Rolling pins, cake tins, scales, pots and pans. Cafetieres, kitchen clocks, electric heaters and fans.
All the thing mentioned, will help around the house, we even sell a trap, that will catch a little mouse.

Meet the Team
Established in 1983. Our founder, John Williamson took the opportunity at the age of 55 to start his own business, something he had dreamed of all his life.
After 10 years of business, John retired and his son Philip and wife Anne took over the shop. Sadly in 2006 Philip passed away very suddenly.
Anne continues to run the business and uses her background experience in administration, finance, IT and business development to make it all possible.
As a small independent business, we understand the value of a face-to-face service. A bit of chit chat, a conversation, an understanding of what our customers are looking for. We are happy to spend time discussing solutions with you. Our service is always with a smile.
We have a fantastic team of thirteen staff who are ready to serve.
